After the bustier, this is the second “bra” shape I’ve tried to make in leather. I did this with exploratorily-sketched paper patterns that I held up to the model and reshaped for a few iterations.
The latigo was more stiff than the veg-tan of the bustier and is more resistant to deformation.
I spent the most time trying to figure out the cup direction w.r.t. the straps crossing in front. This took a bit of balancing.
The back is silver chain finished in o-rings that I finish with a sort of corset-lacing tie, but I want to omit the chain (I don’t want to use it as a tensioning device, just accenting imo) and just switch to buckles.
Like this skirt, this is a look I first tested at the Scissor night at Thee Stork, and F. subsequently wore it as a look to other club nights she DJed.
