Metal logo algorithm
- Draw a symmetrically-mirrored version of word
- Try to average letter morphology such that there is approximate bilateral symmetry while still creating recognizable letters
- Now that the rough shape is in order, work on the line quality of each letter
- Create “hairs” that roughly follow the same orientation (imagine a vector field)
