The Idea
I want to be able to enter or log or document a project at multiple levels (brainstorming, research, etc) and keep it in a place that I find easy to revisit and search, but I also want large custom-category pages for each thing I do (like leather, photography, cirque, etc).
I’m not sure if it’s possible for me to make multiple index pages, for example, that have different formatting and rules? It also wouldn’t be terrible if it worked the way wordpress did now; however I think what’s lacking there is this idea of “featured project” customization.
Formatting
Blog
I want to allow myself to be able to write in a more free-form fashion, like a journal, while allowing people to see my thought process, vs. a more portfolio style of post that is always attached to a project I’m doing.
Labelling
I want to label posts accordingly, so that I can make easy summary pages of things like “flyers” in a pleasing aggregated format, or dynamically include or exclude certain topics.
Categories
Because I produce so much work of many different types, it’s hard to find an easy way to cohesively present these in isolation. I need an easily-modifiable method for coherently presenting a single category of work for those who are trying to evaluate me based on that single category.
